Sometimes I do a session that is so fresh and new that it catches me in my tracks. I often get so caught up in 'work', as most of us do, that I need to look at things from a different perspective. After every session I try to remember t0 take a moment to realize how blessed I am to meet and photograph some of the most beautiful families, couples and babies. It sure is an honour to stop these moments in time and create memories that my clients will {hopefully} cherish for years and years. That's a pretty big deal...right?
This family contacted me a few months back, and we discussed a tea party session for their 3 year old daughter Addy. I just so happened to know this great location for the set up! On the evening of our session, we ventured out into the woods with our crates and props, stopping to capture some amazing family images along the way! Addy was happy to tell me when she was 'all done' with one location and we ventured on to the next, until we found our ideal tea party spot! We set up amongst a huge tree, next to the river, with the warm sun setting behind us. It was PERFECT. Here are some of images we captured:
