Two things I LOVE in life (Okay, well there's many things I love in life, but these two are up there): Photography and Horses.
Put those two things together, and I am a super happy camper! All I ever wanted growing up was a horse. Like most little girls, that's all I ever asked for at Christmas, Birthdays, Easter, on Weekends, Week Days....okay you get the point I'm sure. Anyways, I finally bought my own horse when I was 21 and I started out in photography taking reference photos of my horse and other peoples for my paintings. This growing passion soon evolved into where I am now with my photography. Whenever clients ask me to take photos of them with their horses, I get super giddy! I even made a package available for this type of thing, called "Hoof Beats and Paw Prints." It gives us a chance to celebrate those four legged family members that give us so much in life. They are our confidants, our shoulder to cry on and they will never ever judge us- How great is that? And how beautiful is this little family of four? Meet Tammy, Tim, Gypsy and Dee :)

Country. Western. Rustic. I always get super excited when this 'style' is involved in a session. It's soooooo MY style! I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Bailey and Chris' engagement session at their friends farm a couple of weeks ago. I think we were truly able to capture their easy going, fun loving country lifestyle- and most importantly, the incredible bond that they share with one another! Bailey had previously 'warned' me (haha) that Chris is not a smiler in photographs. A challenge I was most definitely willing to meet! Although I think the serious model look really works for him, his smile sure is pretty great too! (And we got way more smiles than I think even Bailey was aware) Without further adieu, here is the Gorgeous Bailey and Handsome-Groom-To-Be Chris! Congratulations you two. Thanks for allowing me to be a part of your journey :) Finally getting caught up on editing client galleries (Yay!). This family is seriously adorable. Maddie and Hudson are two well behaved little people, and I had so much fun working with them on their mommas maternity session :)
Turns out I'm a bit late getting their photos off to them, as wee Spencer was born this morning! (9 days early!) Regardless, I am in love with the sweetness of this session- from the warm autumn colours, to the obvious love this family shares- and I want to share it with everyone! Spencer truly is a lucky little guy to be born into a family so full of love <3 |
